Because psychotherapy is a co-creative, collaborative process between you and your therapist, it is important that you feel a connection with your therapist and sense that the therapist has your best interests at heart.
I view every person I see as a unique individual with his / her own dreams, hopes, goals, values, needs, fears, etc. Therefore, I work to tailor each of my sessions to your particular needs and strengths.
I believe that through the process of expanding upon your inherent strengths and developing insight and awareness, you are able to move into a more empowered state leading to a more enjoyable and gratifying life, a life in which you are able to fully participate. In this empowered state you are able to experience relief from symptoms and / or better manage symptoms, develop coping skills, confront behavior patterns, change negative self-perceptions, and connect with your authentic self, all of which help you to lead a more enjoyable and gratifying life.
I am not the expert on you. You are the expert. I am the expert in facilitating the therapeutic process in a way in which, together, we can bring to the surface the answers already within you. The time is now.
